Welcome! My name is Diana and I am the creative mind and hands behind Appalachia Angel Studios. Born and raised in the Appalachia mountain region, my inspiration began by exploring the beautiful trails, rivers and mountains as a young girl, roaming the earthly realms and spending most of my time in nature. Most of my childhood years consisted of building fairy houses, exploring, hiking, camping and dreaming in the ancient forests of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I am expressive through multitudes of mediums such as hand embroidery, machine embroidery, needle felting, drawing, sewing, watercolors, mixed media, painting, quilting and macrame. Creating is my true passion and I have cultivated a magical garden where I began my Herbalism journey in 2022. Some of my other passions include playing piano, plant medicine, foraging, gardening, archery and practicing earth skills.

As an aspiring herbalist I began my apothecary journey in 2024.

My embroidery journey started when I found a vintage embroidery kit of my mothers when I was a child. I started playing with threads and designs and fell in love with the intimate process of stitching onto hoops and clothing. The infinite love I have for sewing, embroidery and quilting has been passed down from several generations in my family, most importantly my mother, who has been the biggest inspiration to start my own business.

My growing passion led me to create a magical studio space in Asheville, North Carolina where I now have an industrial embroidery machine to manifest personalized clothing and designs. Through much creative exploration, I have found embroidery to be a unique way to express individuality and embellish clothing, quilts and much more.
